The Right of Birth

What human parent has not shared a similar thought with her or his child.  This is a universal theme which perhaps is noticed in Whale cultures.  Who really knows?  Maybe Whales know more about these things than humans do.  One day we might find out.

    To speak soundly

    Is the right of birth.

    To chatter is unwise.

    To utter stupid syllables

Is to risk a slapping overtone.

Thus, if nothing need be heard,

It is better not to echo after all.
