A Migration Song

This is a migration song.  Humpback Whales move between the arctics and tropics.  With sophisticated sonar systems, they are able to penetrate the ocean depths, "see" the mountain ranges with their sonar, thus following ancient routes north and south, safely and securely.

    Mountains of the sea descend

    Beyond our range of liberty.

    We vision echoes bouncing canyons

    And image them in memory.

    We lightly fly the underwaters,

Soar in space through liquid intervals,

    Valleys flow below us slowly

As we swiftly drink fresh atmospheres.
